How does it work?

At Médica de la Ciudad, we want your medical tourism experience to be as transparent and stress-free as possible. That's why we've streamlined the process into clear and easy-to-follow steps. Here, we explain how you'll transition from the initial consultation to your recovery and return home.

Step 1
Virtual Consultation

All begins with a video call. Once you reach out to us, we schedule a virtual session with the specialist doctor to assess your situation and discuss treatment options. This is your opportunity to ask questions and express your expectations.

Step 2
Assessment and Questions

During your initial interaction with the doctor, you'll receive a preliminary assessment and can address any doubts regarding the procedure, recovery time, and associated costs.

Step 3
Travel Planning

After deciding to proceed, our team will coordinate the details of your trip, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation, ensuring that your only concern is your health.

Step 4
Arrival and Reception

Upon arriving in Mexico, a member of our team will be waiting to take you to the hospital or your accommodation. If preferred, we can arrange for a companion to stay with you at the hospital or in a nearby hotel.

Step 5
Procedure

With the assurance of being in expert hands, your planned procedure will be carried out. Our hospitals are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and highly trained staff to provide you with the best care.

Step 6
Recovery

After your procedure, your recovery is our priority. If your doctor deems it necessary, we will transfer you to a recovery home, where you can rest and receive postoperative care.

Step 7
Follow-up

Even after your procedure, we are with you. We conduct virtual follow-ups to monitor your recovery and ensure you have everything you need for a safe return home.

Step 8
Return Journey

When you are ready to go home, we will coordinate your transfer to the airport or border. Our commitment to your well-being extends to ensuring you arrive home safely to continue your recovery.
